New Online Membership Chairman Resource
Empowering Volunteers, Empowering You!
The Boy Scouts of America has many great resources, and volunteers are number one!
Specifically, volunteers are the backbone of our efforts to recruit more youth into the BSA. To impact the lives of youth in each unit, volunteers must be more engaged. Easy to say, but how can you do it?
A new online membership resource, available at http://www.scouting.org/scoutsource/Membership/Youth_Recruitment/Membership_Chairman.aspxcan assist new and current members in areas that include community projects, membership analyses, marketing, Webelos-to-Scout transition plans, and much more!
Volunteers responsible for membership in a council, district, or unit can find practical methods, new videos, and ideas for developing and implementing a successful membership campaign. Sometimes all you need to get on the right course is a good map. Here’s to steering your recruiting efforts in the right direction!
For more information about this great new online tool or other available resources, contact your council, district membership chairman, or Garfield Murden in Membership Impact at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Coming in December!
A brochure featuring information about the new online Membership Chairman resource will be sent to councils to distribute to each district in early December. As a bonus, the brochure will contain a handy DVD featuring new how-to videos, current recruitment resources, and PSAs.
User note: Although all videos are accessible through desktop and notebook computers, you might have difficulty loading them on some mobile devices. Our streaming content provider is experiencing technical issues, but we are working to resolve this quickly.
