National Youth Leadership Training
June 22-27, 2014
National Youth Leadership Training is an action-packed, exciting program designed to provide youth members of the Middle Tennessee Council, Boy Scouts of America, with leadership skills and experience that they can use in their home units and in other situations demanding leadership of self and others.
Participants learn and practice Goal Setting, Planning, Problem Solving, Decision Making, and Conflict Resolution though classes, games, and outdoor activities. Participants learn to use the Leading EDGE and the Teaching EDGE by working with their patrols in an exciting and challenging course environment.
Who May Attend?
A Scout or Venture must have the following qualifications by June 1, 2013:
- Must be a current member of BSA
- Must Be 13 years of age and have completed the 7th grade
- Be a First Class Scout
- Must be 13 years of age and have completed the 7th grade
- Must have completed the ILSC training prior to this training.
Exceptions will not be made for the age or rank requirements. Each Participant must bring a completed Health & Medical Record form (signed by a doctor) in order to participate in the course.
