Scouting happens locally!
The Upper Cumberland District serves scouting in Clay, Jackson, Overton, and Putnam counties of Tennessee. At the heart of our district are local volunteer leaders and commissioners. These are the people who lead Cub Scout Packs, Boy Scout Troops, Explorer Post, and Venture Crews. Many more volunteers support them in crucial roles helping to organize and develop our Units. Each unit is chartered to another area organization committed to helping our youth. Working together these leaders, organizations, parents, and scouts work towards the mission of preparing young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.
The goal of this website is to be an information resource to scouters of all ages within our district.
