Scouters, Parents and Scouts, In keeping with the scouting spirit, the UCD is collecting men’s shoes (working and walking) to be given to our own Cookeville Rescue Mission.  The program can get as big as you want to make it.   All we’re asking is to ask family and friends to look in their closets to get those shoes they haven’t worn in a while and give them up.  Coordinate your Pack/Troop’s donation/collection with me.  Start now through and including the 6th of February.  The Rescue Mission will receive the shoes after February 6th.

A collection box will be available at the Cub Scout Lock-In this Friday, Jan 15th for any shoe drop-offs.

Please make this a program worth someone’s while….the one’s that will be wearing the shoes, instead of in the closet.
