2012 Cub Scout Day Camp

Cub Scout Day Camp is just around the corner! 

This year’s Science-themed day camp (June 4th through 8th) is just around the corner.  There is still time to preregister your Cub Scout to make sure that he has a T-Shirt available for the first day of camp.  Boys who are not currently members of Cub Scouts can attend for an additional $5 fee.  Cub Scout campers should register at

Remember, Day Camp is open to boys who just finished their Kindergarten school year through boys who just completed their 4th grade school year.  Note that the youngest boys who just finished their Kindergarten year will be considered as Tigers for camp and will need an adult partner to attend with them through the entire week.

 VOLUNTEERS!

We do not currently have enough volunteers registered to be able to run Day Camp.  Boy Scouts and Venturers are needed to help run program areas as well as serve as den chiefs.  We are also in desperate need of adult volunteers to serve as den leaders, craft leaders, and leaders of the tot lot (our daycare-type area for children of volunteers).  If you can help as a volunteer please register online at

Volunteers who preregister prior to 5/28 and attend all week will receive a T-Shirt.  If an adult volunteer needs to bring a non-cubscout child age 2 or older and potty trained, the child is welcome to attend our Tot Lot.  Tot Lot will have a $10 charge for the week so that we can cover the costx of the Tot Lot program.

All attendees will need to wear sturdy, closed toed shoes for the duration of camp for safety.  Lunch and breakfast will be provided for all under the age of 18.  Please preregister if possible to help us prepare an adequate number of meals.  Adults should plan to bring their lunch.  Camp runs from 8:00AM through 3:00PM each day.
