The 100th Year Middle Tennessee Council Jamboree is coming up on us fast.  The Dates are October 8th, 9th, and 10th.   Eddie Mansell, SM of Troop 295 has been appointed the Boy Scout Archery Range Officer and he is in need of Adult’s or Eagle Scouts that are willing to help as Assistant Range Officers on Saturday the 9th.  Training requirements are the same as Cub Scout BB & Archery Certifications.  If you are willing to help and are not Certificated in BSA Archery, that is ok, we have an instructor willing to put on a class for us so we can get you Certificated to help run the range.

We are going to have up to 50 shooting stations that will run all day to allow as many Boy Scouts and Venture’s the opportunity to shoot.  We will be shooting from 8 to 5pm.  Lunch will be provide on the range due to having to shoot through lunch to provide enough time for everyone.  Eddie needs need approximately 15 Assistance Range Officers and couple of Eagle Scouts that are willing to help cover the fundamentals before reaching the firing line.

If you assist with this event during the council Jamboree please contact; Eddie Mansell, SM – Troop 295 and Council Archery Range Officer for 100th Year Jamboree.  Come one come all help give the Boy Scouts and Venturing Crews the time to shoot on the Archery Range.
